Colombo Colts Cricket Club delivered a masterclass in both batting and bowling to register a thumping 249-run victory over Kurunegala Youth Cricket Club. Batting first, Colts posted a mammoth 316 for 5 in their allotted 50 overs, built around two outstanding centuries. Dinesh Chandimal smashed a brilliant 120 off just 89 balls, playing a fluent and aggressive innings, while Sangeeth Cooray held firm at the other end with a composed 100 off 141 balls, guiding the innings with elegance and control. Their 180+ run stand laid the perfect foundation for a massive total, which the lower middle order built on in the final overs.

In reply, Kurunegala YCC were completely outplayed, folding for just 67 runs in 22.5 overs.
